What to Expect at Your NewHealth MD Visit
We know visiting a new clinic can feel uncertain. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you book to the moment you leave — so you can focus on your health, not the logistics.
1. Book Your Appointment
Schedule online in minutes or call your nearest clinic directly. Same-day and next-day appointments are available at all locations. Walk-ins are welcome too.
2. Arrive & Check In
When you arrive, our front desk team will greet you in English or Spanish. Check-in is quick — have your insurance card and a valid ID ready. New patients will complete a short health history form.
3. Meet Your Care Team
You'll be seen by a licensed nurse practitioner or physician who takes the time to listen. We review your health history, current medications, and any concerns you bring to the visit — no rushing.
4. Your Exam & Care Plan
Depending on your visit type, we may perform a physical exam, order on-site labs or an EKG, provide vaccinations, or manage a chronic condition. Before you leave, you'll have a clear understanding of your care plan and any next steps.
5. Follow-Up & Ongoing Care
Your NewHealth MD provider stays connected after your visit. You can message your care team, request prescription refills, and schedule follow-ups through the patient portal or by phone.
